I just said yes to a great new job!

Right now I am very excited! There are several things to say and many thanks to hand out. If you helped me in any part of my Job Hunt, expect a personal thank you coming from me, very soon. This image here (also the new header image on this site) is a statement of the new direction I am heading. What direction is that?
I have accepted new employment with ECG Management Consultants, Inc.
ECG is headquartered in downtown Seattle, Washington and also has several offices around the country. The title for this new position is Knowledge Manager. It entails a number of things and I am certain I will learn a lot. I am looking forward to sharing new experiences and growing along with this organization. I have a lot of confidence in the direction and vision of the organization and in the management team. I feel honored that they have invited me to join with them. I think this will be a really good fit.
What does this mean for this blog and for the number of posts here? Well, that will likely change a bit. For one thing, I do not expect to have the same amount of time that I have had over the past months, to dedicate to writing and reading. I do expect that I will still follow along many memes and will still write about various topics. I know I will always continue to read as much as possible. The change here is that my interests and where I lend my attention will likely adjust to new challenges and new opportunities. Right now I want to make sure that I set myself up here, to under-promise and over-deliver!
Thank you again, if you helped me in any way. And, stay tuned for more Tweblog adventures in the very near future. I am not going away. However, I am refocusing and taking on some new challenges.

Eric: Hehe… Every time I take that down, someone lets me know about it and says, “No! Bring Kermit back.” It’s just one of those silly things. Maybe it’s branding. Yikes!
