• sort of cool, with frost, but sunny and pleasant
• catch up on a little news via CNN w/ Slingbox
• Saddam Hussein may be executed today
• couple three hours of consulting work in the morning
  • facilitate a new blogger who wants in, and walk through RSS
• to post office for some delivery they wouldn’t leave at my door
  • think it’s my special coffee delivery! 
  • yup, it was, and it took a full hour with waiting in lines
• reply to several potential employer inquiries
• follow-up on some networking w/ potential employer contacts
• couple more hours of consulting work in the afternoon
  • plan co-location for server(s) for new startup business
• update some web sites / blogs to reflect stuff learned today

throughout the day

• a little laundry
• a little vacuuming
• a little kitchen cleanup
• file some paperwork
• catchup on various things through RSS reader

UPDATE: It seems like everything is taking longer than planned.  I’m not in a good frame of mind to work on some of the things I thought I would do today.  I am getting things done.  But, I’ll probably do more over the weekend, and then will jump into stuff again “next year.” 

BTW, I am really liking the new Office 2007 for its flagging and sorting.  It’s working great to help organize several projects and keep things on track.

UPDATE2: It took a full hour to go to the post office, wait in line with abut 30 other people (literally 30 people in line) and then get the package of my coffee.  Yes, I love Seattle, and the coffee that it brings!  My morning consulting took an hour longer than initially thought.  Plus, people have not been very responsive here on the last Friday of the year, before a holiday weekend… All that to say, it looked better “on paper” at the beginning of the day.  All-in-all, a very productive day.  Cheers!
