I just found out that my sister just got a job as 5th grade teacher.  It’s her first teaching job as she’s just graduated a few weeks ago.  She’s in Minnesota, where most of my family is from.

I’m really proud of you Becky!  Way to go!

I also remember when I was in 5th grade.  That was the year that we moved from Minnesota to Puerto Rico, half way through the year, during Christmas break.  That was also the first experience I had with home schooling.  The second half of the year was home schooling for me, via correspondence school.  I don’t think I did very well because I was too 5th grade for anyone at that time, much less too much to be at home all day long with my mom (bless her heart!).

So, for my sister, I wish for courage, strength, consistency, lots of love - and I’m going to say it - patience.
